 Today I made a second poetry presentation about the poem "Coca-Cola and Coco Frio" by Martin Espada. It was an interesting poem which was comparing the U.S.A. against Puerto Rico.

 I had a presentation about Hungry Planet around the world, and I was assigned to search about Kuwait! This was my first time to know about the food culture of Kuwait, and it was such a great experience to know about a new country. 1. Hungry Planet 2. Where is Kuwait? 3. Oil for Food? 4.   For my Book Presentation I chose "Italian Cuisine a Cultural History" by Alberto Capatti & Massimo Montanari. I love eating Italian food, so I would like to understand more about the history of the Italian cuisine by reading this book.

 My and my partners gave a presentation of a poem called, "Ode to Pork" by Kevin Young. These are the slides we used!

 In this class I made a recipe presentation about the Spanish Tortilla.🇪🇸 2. What's a Spanish Tortilla. What's different compared to the famous Mexican Tortilla. 3. Explanation of the Spanish tortilla. 4. Ingredients. 5~8. How to make the Spanish Tortilla.

2 weeks ago we had a beautiful picnic at Yoyogi Park!  Each person brought some food and we shared it together. The weather was perfect for the picnic and and we enjoyed juggling together!🤹‍♀️

 My favorite ramen restaurant in Japan is called "Menya Taniguchi (麺屋たにぐち). It is located in Tennoji, Osaka. The first time that I went there was about 3 years ago, when it opened. When I was in high school in Osaka, I used to go to a cram school near "Menya Taniguchi", and I ate there 2~3 times a week. Miso Ramen  Now that I live in Tokyo, I can't go to eat the ramen as often as I used to. However, when I go back to Osaka, I always make some time to go to eat this Miso Ramen. I  wish they could open a store in Tokyo too.
